Job summary

Daikin Comfort is seeking a Local Driver to safely operate company trucks and ensure timely product deliveries while providing excellent customer service.

You will load/unload, use forklifts, and support warehouse operations at the branch location. A valid license, DOT knowledge, and 3+ years of driving experience are essential. The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs and strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• DOT regulations knowledge and compliance are essential.
• Customer service skills and safety-focused mindset are required.
• Must be able to load/unload safely and operate forklifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and deliver product to customer sites within designated time frames using efficient routes.
• Maintain logs and reports to comply with DOT and company policies.
• Safely load, block and secure cargo; operate forklifts and transfer goods.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle checks and warehouse duties as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and work as a warehouse/front counter backup when required.
