Job summary

Daikin Comfort is seeking a Local Driver to ensure safe delivery of products to customer sites and company locations. The role includes loading/unloading, warehouse duties, and excellent customer service.

You will operate forklifts, maintain DOT logs, and comply with safety standards while supporting branch operations. Qualified candidates have 3+ years driving experience, a valid license, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience in the past 3 years.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass DOT checks.
• Ability to operate a forklift and use MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and deliver product to customer sites within designated time frames safely using efficient routes.
• Maintain logs and reports to comply with DOT and company safety policies.
• Safely load, block and secure cargo; verify product quantity and accuracy during loading.
• Operate forklift safely for transfers and warehousing tasks.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and assist in warehouse or front counter duties.
