Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is seeking a concrete mixer truck driver to safely operate and deliver ready-mixed concrete to construction sites across Ohio. This full-time role requires loading, unloading, and basic truck maintenance with shifts that may vary and include nights or weekends.

A valid Class B CDL is required. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with up to 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid minimum class B CDL.
• High school diploma preferred or equivalent; or minimum of 1 year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate ready-mix concrete truck to deliver to construction sites, in a safe and efficient manner, obeying applicable laws and dispatch instructions.
• Maintain communication with Dispatcher or Plant Manager regarding deliveries and check delivery tickets for special instructions.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain truck cleanliness; assist with yard work as needed.
• Follow safety rules and use PPE; read receipts and document transactions as required.
