Job summary

BlueLinx Corporation is seeking drivers in Jacksonville, FL, offering a starting pay of $27.87 per hour. The role features home every night and weekend, first shift hours, and modern equipment including flatbed and curtain side trailers with no tarping.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 12 months of recent verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Safe Driving Record.
• Ability to secure loads.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping - ONLY strapping
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports
• Direct the unloading by customers, when required

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate based on the position requirements and market data. Actual compensation will depend on factors including experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and other job-related considerations.
