Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a safety-focused Tanker Operator with a Class A CDL to transport cement from terminals to SRM plant locations, ensuring timely deliveries and strict safety compliance.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, complete logs per DOT regulations, and coordinate with dispatch while upholding SRM’s 5 Principles of Service. A minimum of 2 years’ tanker experience and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ proven experience driving Class A tanker trucks.
• Clean driving record with no serious tickets or accidents in the last 5 years.
• Valid Class A CDL; Tanker Endorsement helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A tanker truck transporting cement from terminals to SRM plant locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain DOT-compliant logs.
• Communicate with dispatch for instructions and updates; ensure on-time deliveries.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or violations and stay current on safety regulations.
