Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Class A Tanker Operator to safely transport cement from terminals to SRM plants, upholding safety, service, and reliability on every delivery. This role emphasizes on-time performance, accurate paperwork, and professional customer interactions.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, a current DOT medical card, at least 2 years of tanker experience, a clean driving record, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience driving Class A tanker trucks.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations in last 5 years.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for material transport.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A tanker truck transporting cement to SRM plant locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery documentation, and paperwork per company and DOT rules.
• Coordinate with dispatch for delivery instructions and route updates.
• Ensure proper loading/unloading to prevent spills or contamination.
• Follow routes, schedules, and safety procedures for material transport.
• Provide professional customer service at delivery sites.
• Report vehicle defects or incidents promptly.
• Stay updated on safety regulations and company policies.
