Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking a safety-conscious CDL driver to operate Class B or A trucks across varied routes and terrain. You will perform pre-trip inspections, comply with FMCSA regulations, maintain accurate records, and ensure cargo security while delivering reliable service to customers.

The role requires meeting licensing, medical, and background screening standards, lifting 70 lbs, and the ability to work independently or with a dock team.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old for interstate driving and have at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Must possess a valid Class B or Class A CDL license.
• Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center or work assignment.
• Hazmat endorsement recommended but not required.
• Ability to operate a forklift (7500 lb).
• Able to pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Able to lift approximately 70 lbs. and work independently or in a team.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate various equipment safely, including manual transmissions and tire chains.
• Transport freight in compliance with FMCSA and company policies.
• Maintain required records and inspections before and after trips.
• Ensure security of equipment and cargo during transport.
• Perform dock loading/unloading when required and assist as needed.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company code of conduct.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to Fleet Services.
