Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines seeks a Class B/C CDL driver to operate a straight truck and transport freight in compliance with FMCSA and company policies. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain records, and support dock activities as needed.

The role requires the ability to work varied schedules, lift up to 70 lbs, and adhere to safety guidelines. Forklift experience and in-cab electronic log usage may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Must be 21+ for interstate runs; 1 year driving experience.
• Valid Class B or A CDL required.
• FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse registration.
• Residence within 75 miles of domicile/service center.
• Air brake endorsement if equipped with air brakes.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class B CDL Straight Truck to transport freight following FMCSA regulations.
• Comply with federal, state and local laws and FMCSA run times.
• Maintain required records and FMCSA compliance.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor/trailer.
• Support dock operations, loading/unloading freight as needed.
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers.
• Adhere to company policies and code of conduct.
