Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking a professional CDL driver to safely operate Class B/A tractors and transport freight under FMCSA regulations. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain required records, and ensure cargo security across diverse routes and terrains.

The role involves potential hazmat endorsement, dock loading/unloading, and delivering high-quality, courteous service to customers.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent
• Must be 21+ for interstate driving; 1 year experience
• Valid Class B or A CDL
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration
• Residency within 75 miles of Service Center
• Air brake endorsement if equipped
• Stable employment history preferred
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Lift 70 lbs and handle pallets

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and handle hazmat if endorsed
• Adhere to FMCSA regulations and run times
• Maintain compliance records with local, state and federal rules
• Dock work including loading/unloading freight as needed
• Provide professional customer service to clients and the public
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor/trailer
• Report maintenance issues to Fleet Services and supervision
