Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking a safety‑minded CDL driver to operate a Class B straight truck, perform inspections, and maintain regulatory records. You’ll ensure cargo security and customer service while loading and unloading freight as needed.

The role requires a valid Class B/C CDL, FMCSA compliance, ability to lift 70 lbs., and the stamina to work in diverse environments. HT/TD responsibilities and on‑site duties apply.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 21+ years old for interstate runs; 1 year of driving experience required.
• Must hold a valid Class B or Class A CDL.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration required.
• Residence within 75 miles of the Service Center or assignment.
• Air brake endorsement if equipped.
• Stable employment history preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift (7500 lb).
• Ability to lift 70 lbs. or more.
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class B CDL Straight Truck to transport freight in compliance with FMCSA rules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety.
• Maintain records as required by local, state and federal regulations.
• Ensure security of equipment and cargo during and after trips.
• Assist with loading/unloading freight at dock as needed.
• Provide courteous service to customers and the public.
• Adhere to company policies and safety procedures.
