Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking a CDL A truck driver to operate tractors and trailers across diverse routes and environments. You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations, and handle loading/unloading duties as required.

This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and professional customer service. The candidate must maintain a valid CDL A with HazMat and Tanker endorsements, pass medical and road tests, and meet English fluency requirements.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• 21 years of age per FMCSA; 1 year driving experience required.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center.
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test; drug screening.
• Able to lift approximately 70 lbs. and drive across varied terrains.

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of equipment to perform safety functions.
• Safely transport freight per FMCSA and company regulations.
• Maintain compliance with local, state and federal rules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractors and trailers.
• Handle loading/unloading duties as needed at docks or customer sites.
• Provide professional customer service and teamwork with dock and fleet staff.
