Silvi Materials in Mount Holly, NJ is seeking Concrete Truck Drivers to safely operate 80,000-lb ready-mix trucks and deliver concrete on a variable overnight schedule. You will perform DOT-compliant inspections, maintain delivery records, and communicate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualificações

• Must possess a valid CDL-A or CDL-B license and a valid DOT Medical Card.
• Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Able to work a variable overnight schedule (start between 12:00 am and 9:00 am; call 4/5 pm daily).
• Minimum 1 year driving experience.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain the highest standard of quality and safety while ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of concrete.
• Operate an 80,000 lbs ready-mix truck in accordance with all federal and state regulations.
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT guidelines; document and request required repairs as needed.
• Load and pour concrete according to procedures involving ladders, main chutes, and extension chutes, as well as driving in and out of areas with heavy pedestrian and equipment traffic.
• Maintain delivery, truck and driving records in accordance with company policies, as well as federal and state regulations.
• Read delivery tickets and communicate with dispatch regarding all deliveries.
• Wash residual concrete and materials off and out of all areas of the truck and barrel.

So what does a Silvi Materials Concrete Mixer driver do?

Qualifications Required as a Silvi Materials Driver.

• Must possess a valid commercial driver’s license CDL-A or CDL-B and have a valid DOT Medical Card
• Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Able to work a variable schedule. Start times are anywhere between 12:00 am through 9:00 am. Requires calling in to the plant at 4/5pm daily.
• 1 year of preferred driving expereince

• Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds on a regular basis, throughout the day.
• Must be able to climb on traditional and truck ladders.
• Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

• Make fast, repeated movements of fingers, hands, and wrists while driving.

• Move two or more limbs together (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while remaining in place.
• Hold the arm and hand in one position or hold the hand steady while moving the arm.
• See details of objects that are less than a few feet away.
• Use muscles to jump, sprint, or throw objects.
• Use muscles for extended periods of time.
• Be physically active for long periods of time.
• Determine from which direction a sound came.
• See differences between colors, shades, and brightness.
