Job summary

Silvi Materials is seeking a Concrete Truck Driver in Malvern, PA. You will operate an 80,000 lbs ready-mix truck, deliver concrete safely on schedule, and perform pre-trip inspections.

Qualifications include CDL-A or CDL-B with a DOT Medical Card, ability to work a night-based, variable shift (start times between midnight and 9 a.m.), and a willingness to pass a DOT drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid commercial driver's license CDL-A or CDL-B and have a valid DOT Medical Card.
• Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Able to work a variable schedule. Start times are between 12:00 am and 9:00 am; daily call-in at 4/5pm.
• 1 year of driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and deliver concrete using an 80,000 lbs ready-mix truck.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT guidelines.
• Load and pour concrete using ladders, chutes, and extension chutes; navigate areas with heavy pedestrian/equipment traffic.
• Maintain delivery, truck, and driving records per company and regulatory requirements.
• Read delivery tickets and communicate with dispatch about deliveries.
• Wash residual concrete and materials from truck and barrel.

Silvi Materials Concrete Mixer driver responsibilities

• Maintain the highest standard of quality and safety while ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of concrete.
• Operate an 80,000 lbs ready-mix truck in accordance with all federal and state regulations.
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT guidelines; document and request required repairs as needed.
• Load and pour concrete according to procedures involving the use of ladders, main chutes, and extension chutes, as well as driving in and out of areas with heavy pedestrian and equipment traffic.
• Maintain delivery, truck and driving records in accordance with company policies, as well as federal and state regulations.
• Read delivery tickets and communicate with dispatch regarding all deliveries.
• Wash residual concrete and materials off and out of all areas of the truck and barrel.

Qualifications Required As a Silvi Materials Driver.

• Must possess a valid commercial driver's license CDL-A or CDL-B and have a valid DOT Medical Card
• Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Able to work a variable schedule. Start times are anywhere between 12:00 am through 9:00 am. Requires calling in to the plant at 4/5pm daily.
• 1 year of preferred driving expereince
