Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver to transport food and related products to customers locally and regionally. You will operate tractor/trailer or straight truck, adhering to DOT rules and safety standards while building strong customer relationships.

The role requires early dispatches, Monday–Friday schedules, and benefits from Day 1. Competitive pay reflects route complexity and experience, with opportunities for growth in a critical food distribution network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience required.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers, vendors, and coworkers professionally and timely.
• Perform DOT-required safety checks and inspections.
• Drive and deliver orders according to predetermined schedule.
• Unload products and assist with loading as needed.
• Complete required paperwork and verify customer invoices.
• Record daily hours of service and adhere to regulations.
