Performance Food Group is seeking CDL-A delivery drivers to operate tractor trailers and straight trucks, delivering food products to a variety of customers. The role emphasizes safe driving, on-time delivery, and customer interaction as the face of the company.

Responsibilities include conducting safety checks, maintaining logs, and loading/unloading freight while ensuring proper documentation and payment collection where applicable.

Qualifications

• HSD/GED required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A.
• 21+ years of age.
• Meet state licensing requirements where applicable.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card or able to secure one.
• Able to lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Performs safety checks and DOT compliance activities.
• Inspects and secures trailers and freight.
• Delivers orders according to the schedule and routes.
• Collects payments where required and secures signatures.
• Keeps paperwork accurate and up-to-date.
• Loads/unloads products and maintains vehicle cleanliness.
