Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver to support food distribution operations. You will drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, deliver to customers on schedule, and unload products while maintaining DOT compliance and safety standards.

The role requires 21+ years of age, a valid CDL-A, and a clean motor vehicle record. Expect early-morning shifts, occasional Saturdays, and opportunities for growth and benefits from Day 1.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL-A license and valid DOT Health Card.
• Clean MVR in last 3 years; pass drug test and background check.
• Must be 21+; able to lift 10–90 lbs.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers and co-workers professionally.
• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Drives tractor trailer or straight truck on local/OTR/shuttle routes.
• Delivers and unloads items; obtains customer signatures.
• Completes required paperwork and hours-of-service logs.
• Secures freight and keeps equipment and trailers clean.
