Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to join our Foodservice team. You will drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck locally and regionally, ensuring on-time deliveries and accurate paperwork while upholding safety standards.

This full-time role offers a Mon–Sat schedule with the potential to earn $80,000–$100,000 annually, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement within America's food distribution network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
• Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move freight of varying size and weight.

Responsibilities

• Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspects tractor/trailer per DOT regulations.
• Drives to delivery locations and delivers, unloads, and secures freight.
• Verifies delivery with customers and obtains proper signatures.
• Completes required paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Performs daily hours-of-service logs as per DOT and company requirements.
