Job summary

Estes Express is seeking a dedicated CDL Class A professional to safely operate tractor/trailer equipment and transport freight. The role requires adherence to FMCSA regulations, proper cargo securement, and regular vehicle inspections.

You will be responsible for safe, on-time deliveries and may assist with dock operations as needed. The position demands HazMat endorsements, a clean driving record, and the physical ability to lift roughly 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and be eligible to drive in all terrains.
• 21 years of age minimum; comply with FMCSA rules.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet FMCSA medical standards.
• Must be able to lift approx. 70 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer to transport freight in compliance with state and federal laws.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; secure cargo and ensure trailer seals.
• Adhere to FMCSA hours-of-service and safety regulations.
• Provide safe, courteous service to customers and manage dock loading/unloading as needed.
• May work varied schedules and routes based on business needs.
