Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking a professional truck driver responsible for safe operation of tractor/trailer equipment to transport freight in compliance with FMCSA and company standards. You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintain records, and ensure secure handling of hazardous materials when required.

The role requires a Class A CDL, valid medical certification, and adherence to all safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• 21 years of age per FMCSA; 1 year driving experience required.
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Must be registered with FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Must reside within 75 miles of the serviced center/work assignment
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required
• Must be able to drive a tractor trailer per FMCSA requirements
• Stable employment history preferred
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment and perform safety functions for transport of freight.
• Drive tractor/trailer safely in compliance with FMCSA and company policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance needs.
• Load/unload freight at dock or customer site as needed.
• Maintain required records and comply with regulations.
• Interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Adhere to safety and security protocols and company codes of conduct.
