Job summary

Estes Express is seeking a professional truck driver to operate tractors and trailers and transport freight across routes in the United States. The role requires strict adherence to FMCSA regulations, completion of safety inspections, and accurate record-keeping.

You will engage in loading/unloading as needed and deliver professional service to customers. This position requires a valid Class A CDL, HazMat endorsements, and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Must comply with FMCSA regulations and safety rules
• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain records
• HazMat, Tanker, and Doubles endorsements required
• Must be able to meet FMCSA English language requirements
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center or work assignment
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer to transport freight in accordance with FMCSA rules
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety and compliance
• Maintain accurate records and logs as required
• Comply with hazardous materials transportation requirements
• Drive in various terrains and weather conditions
• Provide professional service to customers and load/unload as needed
• Commit to regular attendance and safety policies
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
