Job summary

The E.W. Scripps Company’s KNXV is seeking an Account Executive to connect local Phoenix businesses with multi-platform advertising solutions, from broadcast TV to OTT, search, social, and email targeting. You will act as a trusted marketing advisor delivering customized campaigns that drive ROI.

You’ll prospect, present, and close deals, using CRM to manage pipelines and leverage ratings data and market trends to optimize programs, while delivering best-in-class service and growing accounts.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience.
• Generally 2+ years of proven sales success preferred.
• Experience in strategic account management, broadcast ratings, and digital execution preferred.
• CRM systems proficiency and ability to manage sales funnel.

Responsibilities

• Sell advertising solutions to local and regional businesses and advertising agencies.
• Analyze customer needs and develop customized advertising solutions that provide ROI.
• Facilitate customers’ ability to use full digital marketing options.
• Prospect, secure appointments, conduct needs analysis, present and close sales.
• Use ratings data and market trends to negotiate program rates.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and drive revenue growth.
• Manage client services, including negotiations, presentations, and renewals.
• Develop creative campaigns with client communication and production support.
