Qualifications

• Licenses as security officer required or able to obtain one.
• Minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Reliable means of communication and transportation.
• Must have a security guard license or obtainable within a set period.
• Strong interpersonal and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional demeanor while aiding customers, employees, visitors, and guests.
• Maintain a visible presence in the facility / building assigned.
• Monitor the environment for suspicious and unsafe activity.
• Greet customers, visitors, staff, tenants, guests in a professional manner.
• Answer phones in a professional manner and route requests.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances/exits.
• Follow emergency action planning and procedures.
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
