Job summary

Fairmont New Orleans seeks a Lobby Lounge Server to deliver warm, attentive service in our luxury lobby lounge. You will guide guests through menu and beverage selections and coordinate with bartenders to ensure timely, high-quality service.

The ideal candidate has experience in luxury hospitality, excellent communication, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of New Orleans cuisine and beverage culture is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous luxury hotel, upscale restaurant, lounge, or fine-dining experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food, wine, spirits, cocktails, and beverage service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional, personalized service.
• Take orders and communicate special requests and allergies.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly with proper presentation.
• Maintain knowledge of menu, beverages, and hotel amenities.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure seamless service.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and assist with wine and beverage recommendations.
