Job summary

Fairmont New Orleans is seeking a Lobby Lounge Barback to support beverage service, maintain a clean, stocked bar, and assist with events in a luxury hotel setting.

You will work with bartenders, prepare garnishes, restock supplies, and help open/close the bar while ensuring safety and hospitality standards. This role requires a professional appearance and weekend/evening availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in barback or hospitality settings preferred.
• Ability to work in a luxury hotel environment with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support bartenders with beverage service and guest interaction.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and presentable bar areas during service.
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and bar supplies as needed.
• Prepare garnishes and beverage components per recipes and standards.
• Assist with opening/closing bar and service areas.
• Ensure adequate ice, glassware, and tools are available.
• Assist with setup/breakdown for events and functions.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and sanitation throughout shifts.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages to leadership.
• Adhere to Louisiana alcohol regulations and safety procedures.
