Job summary

Fairmont New Orleans is seeking a Barback for the Lobby Lounge to support bartenders and ensure smooth beverage service. You will keep the bar stocked, clean, and ready for guests, restock supplies, prepare garnishes, and assist with opening and closing duties.

The role requires high energy, reliability, and detail orientation in a luxury hotel environment. You will work evenings and weekends, uphold sanitation standards, and interact with guests professionally as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Previous barback or hospitality experience preferred.
• Luxury hotel or upscale bar experience is an asset.
• Strong cleanliness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support bartenders with professional beverage service.
• Keep bar areas stocked, clean, organized and presentable.
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes and glassware.
• Prepare garnishes and beverage components per recipes.
• Assist with opening/closing and setup/breakdown of bar areas.
