You will contact customers, negotiate payment plans, and close loans by explaining requirements while staying compliant with laws. Qualifications

• 1 year customer service experience in any field.
• 6 months collections experience is a plus.
• High School/GED preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows, macOS, Linux and common software applications.
• Excellent communication and persuasive sales skills to drive customer satisfaction and growth.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Attempts to persuade customers to pay the amount due or arrange payment via phone or mail.
• Identifies solutions for customers to refinance accounts and bring accounts current.
• Properly closes loans by ensuring all loan requirements are explained.
• Executes collection calls on overdue accounts.
• Uses company tools to locate past due customers and review pending applications.
• Sells ancillary products to drive business growth where applicable.
• Maintains loan documents and processes in accordance with guidelines and law.
• Prepares copies of financial and legal documents as requested.
• Enters payments into loan management software and updates customer data.
• accommodates payment extensions and maintains collection notes.
