Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to employees, customers, and community.
• Update mortgage and equity rates in loan origination system and website.
• Manage the lock desk: confirm rate locks, handle investor contracts, monitor pipeline.
• Ensure timely delivery of loan sales in the secondary market with proper documentation.
• Coordinate post-closing conditions and review all closed residential and consumer loans.
• Monitor loan setup, data integrity, and conduct regular file maintenance reviews.
• Prepare and distribute monthly self-monitoring reports and seek process improvements.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of customer service in a positive, courteous, and enthusiastic manner to employees, customers/clients and the community.
• Accurate and timely update of daily mortgage and equity interest rates in the Bank’s loan origination system and website.
• Manage the lock desk, including confirming rate locks, taking investor contracts, monitoring the contract pipeline
• Accurate and timely delivery of loan sales in the secondary market, ensuring deadlines are met and appropriate documentation is delivered.
• Manage all investor QC requests, including collecting and delivering requested documentation
• Manage all post-closing conditions, ensuring timely delivery of trailing documents and perform a full document review on all closed residential and consumer loans.
• Responsible for monitoring and compliance with loan setup review and data integrity checkpoints.
• Review and validate critical file maintenance in a timely manner for the department.
• Prepare and distribute monthly self-monitoring reports. Improving current processes and mitigating controls to aid the organization with identifying errors that could be costly and unfavorable for the Bank.
• Perform all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  

Qualifications

• Three years of experience working with in the residential secondary market, closing and servicing portfolios, including FHLMC and FNMA loans.
• Must be detailed-oriented, demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills, have a positive attitude and a commitment to outstanding service.
• Must be a responsible and independent worker who can interact well with other members of the lending team.
• Must have cyber security awareness to protect the digital environment, the Bank, and customers
