Job summary

OnPoint Community Credit Union is seeking a Lending Operations Specialist to oversee lending processes, ensure compliance, and drive process improvements for members, branches, and teams. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in business or finance preferred.
• 1-2 years of lending operations, loan servicing, or financial services.
• Experience in a credit union or bank environment is desirable.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Managing financial transactions related to adjustment, settlement, and servicing of vehicle loans.
• Calculating Home Equity payoff amounts and generating payoff statements.
• Processing ACH payment reversals when errors occur.
• Handling a variety of loan servicing tasks and updates to account information.
• Reviewing GAP, MBP, and Payment Protection letters for accuracy.
• Ensure letters are imaged and uploaded to the system.
• Manage the refund process for GAP premiums on auto loans.
• Respond to inquiries from members and internal staff regarding accounts and loans.
• Responding to proof of insurance emails for new loans or updates.
• Complete additional tasks as delegated by management.
