Job summary

Everwise Credit Union is seeking a Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist to support the ongoing administration of consumer secured and unsecured loan accounts. The role emphasizes accurate loan records, high-quality member service, and adherence to internal procedures, investor requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

You will manage post-booking loan activity, process payoff requests, and ensure timely, compliant servicing across systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; prior loan servicing in financial institution preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient with computer systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive member service experience via phone, email, secure messaging, e-signed processes, or in person.
• Manage post-booking life of consumer open lines and collateralized loans.
• Process payoff requests, payment or fee adjustments, and loan history audits.
• Navigate servicing systems and core banking platforms per procedures to resolve discrepancies within guidelines.
• Track perfection and release of liens on titled collateral.
• Follow up on missing titles, UCC/DMV docs, and lien or title release maintenance.
• Monitor CPI insurance requirements and related adjustments, and coordinate with partners to address gaps.
• Develop understanding of total loss, GAP, and CPI/insurance claims processes for accurate servicing.
