Job summary

The role supports the note department with modification documentation and manages filing and correspondence. Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years in banking/lending, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office and Laser Pro.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Three to five years’ experience in banking/lending is required.
• Experience in a Note Department of a commercial bank is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Laser Pro.

Responsibilities

• Review closed loan documents for accuracy, missing documents, proper signatures and dates.
• Enter information into tracking software and image/index loan files.
• Reconcile loan disbursements and process payments and advances.
• Prepare modification documentation on Laser Pro as assigned.
• Maintain credit files and filing systems; respond to customer inquiries.
• Handle mail, quotes, payoff requests, and collateral release when needed.
