Job summary

New Bedford Credit Union is seeking a Consumer Loan Servicing Representative in New Bedford, MA. This full-time role supports loan file review, document processing, title tracking, and collections activities.

You will assist with insurance claims, dispute resolution, and reporting while upholding FCRA and regulatory standards. The position requires strong customer service skills, a high school diploma or GED, and experience in banking or office administration.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of customer service experience.
• Two years of office administration experience preferred.
• Banking or lending experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing loan files for complete and accurate documentation.
• Process and store supporting loan documents.
• Track and release titles including electronic titles.
• Support Credit Committee report preparation.
• Assist with bankruptcy filings and debt reporting as needed.
• Handle consumer credit history disputes and insurance claims.
• Ensure accurate credit reporting and compliance with relevant acts.
