Columbia Bank in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Business Analyst/Project Manager to optimize workflows for bank business units. You will gather requirements, analyze processes, and translate needs into IT solutions, bridging business and technology to help the organization meet its goals.

Collaborate with stakeholders, support UAT, assist training, and ensure compliance with banking regulations. This role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience, a BA/PM background, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, project management, business systems or equivalent (preferred)
• 2-4 years — of relevant business analyst and/or project management and/or operations experience related to the assigned business unit function (Required)
• Business operations knowledge, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated data analysis skills including project management and/or operations.
• Knowledge of banking policies, procedures, practices and documentation.
• Proficient knowledge of development concepts and practices, potential applications, and customer requirements.
• Proven usage of project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with stakeholders to document, validate and refine requirements based on product vision and goals.
• Elicits information from subject matter experts, business owners, vendors, and others regarding existing and proposed systems.
• Translates moderate complexity business needs into application and operational requirements.
• Supports RFP processes during project initiation.
• Assists in integration and user acceptance testing of new workflows and systems.
• Supports development of training, implementation, and post-implementation material.
• Acts as liaison between business units and Technology Advancement Group (TAG).
• Keeps up to date on banking regulations and ensures compliance.
• Maintains knowledge of bank policies and procedures.
• May coach, mentor, or train others as subject matter expert.
