Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Business Analyst to optimize workflows and document requirements for bank business units. You will bridge business needs with IT, collaborate with stakeholders, and translate complex processes into actionable requirements and test plans.

Responsibilities include supporting RFP processes, user acceptance testing, and developing training materials while ensuring compliance with banking regulations. Travel is occasional; role is onsite in Tacoma, WA.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant business analyst and/or project management experience.
• Knowledge of banking policies, procedures, practices and documentation.
• Demonstrated data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company.

Responsibilities

• Supports optimization of workflow and processes for bank business unit(s).
• Documents business unit requirements and translates them into applications and operational needs.
• Acts as liaison between business units and IT to align solutions with goals.
• Assists with RFP processes, testing, and training material development.
• Ensures compliance with bank regulations and participates in onboarding and knowledge transfer.
