Job summary

Columbia Bank in Tacoma, WA, seeks a Senior Loan Servicing Manager to lead a team of professionals in loan servicing, ensuring accuracy and high customer service. You will guide policy development, implement procedures, and maintain portfolio integrity while managing daily operations onsite.

The role requires 7–10 years in lending or bank operations, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of loan documentation and servicing.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of lending industry or bank operations experience.
• 7-10 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Knowledge of complex loan documentation, structuring, and servicing procedures.
• Strong leadership, organizational, problem solving, interpersonal, analytical, decision making, motivational, and customer service skills.
• Planning, project management, and continuous improvement development skills.
• Knowledge of operational process improvement methods, project management, and banking technology.
• Advanced proficiency in loan origination and related software (LaserPro preferred).
• Knowledge of the bank's loan policies and internal control procedures.
• Ability to provide accurate, detailed results in a high pressure, goal oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain systems for efficient daily operations.
• Prepare the department budget and monitor operational expenses.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and audits are satisfactorily completed.
• Monitor workflow and coach staff; deliver performance reviews.
• Hire, evaluate, and manage personnel per policy.
• Develop department roadmaps and change management processes.
• Maintain security and privacy standards and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee vendor relationships related to loan operations and systems.
• May lead Quality Control Production and Servicing teams.
