Job summary

Dollar Loan Center in Kenosha, WI is seeking a Loan Processor to verify applications, review information, explain loan terms, and fund loans. You’ll greet customers, process loan requests quickly, and ensure underwriting guidelines are followed.

The role focuses on customer service, handling past-due accounts, logging notes, and communicating due dates and payments. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; experience with cash handling or lending is preferred; regular hours with occasional overtime

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of customer service experience.
• Comfortable with computers and basic office equipment.
• Killer communication skills (English/Spanish a bonus).
• Cash handling, lending, or collections experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in-person or over the phone with enthusiasm.
• Explain loan options and why customers should borrow from us.
• Process loan applications and verify information.
• Fund loans while following underwriting guidelines.
• Explain loan contracts and terms to customers.
• Offer credit limit increases to qualifying customers.
• Make marketing calls to inform customers of available funds and products.
• Contact past-due accounts with professional calls.
• Log precise notes with promised dates in the system.
• Compute payments and answer questions on due dates and interest.
• Enter data accurately to keep the office running smoothly.
