Central Bank & Trust Co. is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Processor to prepare commercial, consumer, and mortgage loans for closing in Lexington, KY. This full-time hourly role requires accurate documentation, close coordination with lenders, and strong customer service skills.

You will gather necessary information, ensure compliance, and support closing with efficient document handling and timely processing in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years' direct experience with commercial, consumer or mortgage loan documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to complete detailed work accurately and efficiently with no supervision.
• Promptness, initiative and dependability.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Committed to delivering excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtains necessary loan approval information and documents to close approved loans.
• Contacts outside professionals to coordinate time frames, costs and requirements.
• Ensures business customers are in good standing before closing.
• Performs chattel searches for business borrowers.
• Obtains required documentation before closing (appraisals, insurance, etc.).
• Communicates with lenders about borrower information needed before closing.
• Follows regulatory requirements and reviews loan packages for compliance.
• Prepares loan documents using Capital Stream, Empower, APPRO and Word.
• Advises on proper closing procedures and document execution.
• Ensures timely turnaround of loan documentation.
• Files UCC online with the Secretary of State.
• Supports Quality Control in post-closing review and disbursement checks.
• Identifies technical exceptions on the documentation checklist.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
