Job summary

Commercial Banking Company is seeking a detail‑oriented Loan Processor to manage the end‑to‑end loan process from application through closing. You will prepare disclosures, loan documents, title and recording tasks, and coordinate with attorneys on closings.

Responsibilities include reviewing packages for completeness, maintaining HMDA documentation, and ensuring compliance with banking policies. Strong interpersonal skills and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Prior banking experience, preferable in loan operations and/or loan processing.
• Knowledge of banking policies, procedures, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the loan process from customer to closing with lending officers.
• Process all loan requests including disclosures, documents, flood data, and GL entries.
• Review loan packages and escalate incomplete or incorrect information.
• Prepare TRID/RESPA disclosures and loan documents.
• Prepare various deeds and HELOC documents; coordinate recording.
• Coordinate with attorneys for title opinions and title insurance.
• Prepare estoppel letters, debt modification documents, and payments.
• Research recorded deeds, cancellations, quitclaims, and UCCs.
• Verify business entity documentation and owner requirements.
• Assist with real estate closings and title opinions.
• Order and balance appraisal files; ensure payments.
• Protect bank assets by reviewing loan exceptions and approvals.
• Process letters of credit and maintain files.
• Verify taxes and insurance are paid and lien documents filed.
• Prepare escrow disclosures, annual analyses, and disbursements.
• Complete HMDA documents and review file for proper documentation.
• Prepare participation loan packages for sold/purchased loans.
• Process non-originated loan packages.
• Maintain collateral vault documents and holds.
• Assist Operations with tasks like exception management and customer service.
• Assist other loan processors as needed; perform duties assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain knowledge of bank policies and processes.
