Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Processing Specialist in Lexington to serve as the hub of the office, supporting both administrative tasks and top-tier customer service. You will drive loan files from application to closing, partnering with Loan Officers and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires 2 years of loan processing or mortgage experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with standard office and loan origination/CRM tools.

We are seeking a versatile Loan Processing Specialist to serve as the hub of our client's Lexington office. In this dual-impact role, you will be the welcoming face of our branch while driving loan files efficiently through the pipeline from initial application to the closing table.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in mortgage/loan processing, banking, or high-volume administrative support preferred
• Organizational skills with an eagle eye for detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with standard office software and loan origination/CRM tools

salary: $19 - $20 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 9 AM - 5:30 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Loan Officers to gather, audit, and organize essential borrower documentation (proof of income, tax records, asset statements, and employment verifications)
• Meticulously review application packages to spot and resolve discrepancies, missing data, or inaccuracies prior to underwriting submission
• Retrieve and evaluate credit reporting data to ensure files meet program guidelines
• Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, ensuring every applicant and guest experiences prompt, professional communication
• Manage calendars and coordinate with title agents, buyers, and lenders to schedule smooth, on-time closings
• Track loan milestones proactively to keep processing schedules on target
