Randstad USA is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Servicing Specialist for an immediate contract position in Richmond, VA. You will manage day-to-day administration of consumer loan accounts from boarding through payoff, ensuring transaction accuracy and up-to-date records.

The role requires 2+ years in loan servicing, proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and strong communication to support members throughout the loan lifecycle. Typical hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, with a first shift on an hourly contract.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Loan Servicing Specialist for an immediate contract position in Richmond. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day administration of consumer loan accounts from initial boarding through final payoff. You will play a crucial role in ensuring transaction accuracy, maintaining up-to-date account records, and delivering clear, timely support to our members throughout the loan lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Loan Maintenance: Process operational account requests, including payment back-offs, loan extensions, loan modifications, and general record updates.
• Payment Processing: Accurately and promptly apply regular payments, principal curtailments, fees, reversals, account corrections, and payoff funds.
• Account Research: Investigate transaction histories, ledger balances, interest calculations, payment discrepancies, and system exceptions.
• Member Support: Respond to complex account inquiries, explain loan servicing activity, supply required documentation, and collaborate across internal teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years in Loan Servicing, Consumer Loans, or similar experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced work environment with proven capability to prioritise tasks effectively to meet strict operational deadlines.
• Microsoft Office, with intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Team player with solid communication skills and an ability to work well in a cooperative setting.
