Job summary

Compass Pointe Consulting is seeking motivated recent graduates to join a dynamic mortgage office as Loan Processors. This on-site role supports the loan lifecycle from application to closing across multiple locations including Richmond and surrounding areas.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, and a willingness to learn mortgage procedures. Experience is welcome but not required; a fast-paced, collaborative office environment is offered with benefits.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential mortgage files from application through closing.
• Maintain regular communication with borrowers and internal business partners.
• Collect, review, and record borrower and property documentation.
• Set up loan files and order required items (credit reports, verifications, appraisals).
• Identify missing/incomplete documentation and follow up promptly.
• Monitor loans to ensure deadlines are met and coordinate with teams.
• Prepare closing paperwork and verify loan files for accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records and follow applicable lending procedures.
• Provide responsive, professional customer service throughout the mortgage process.

Job description

Our client, one of the largest Home Builders in the US is seeking motivated,competitive recent graduates (0-3 yrs of experience) who areinterestedinbuildingacareerinthemortgageindustry, for the position of Loan Processor to support customers throughout the mortgage process.

This is an on-site position based in a mortgage office. Locations available include: Richmond, Baltimore, Dumfries, Fairfax, Frederick, Roanoke, Lynchburg, Rehoboth DE and Pittsburgh. Other roles may be available.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage residential mortgage files from application through closing
  Maintain regular communication with borrowers and internal business partners
• Collect, review, and record borrower and property documentation
• Set up loan files and order required items, including credit reports, employment verifications, deposit verifications, appraisals, and other exhibits
• Identify missing or incomplete documentation and follow up promptly
  Monitor submitted and pending loans to ensure deadlines are met
  Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, sales teams, and closing personnel
• Prepare closing paperwork and verify loan files for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain accurate records and follow applicable lending and compliance procedures
• Provide responsive, professional customer service throughout the mortgage process

Qualifications

Salary Ranges for ths role: $60-65000/yr based on experience
