Job summary

RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing LLC is seeking a detail‑oriented Loan Processor to support both origination and operation of residential mortgage files. You will review documents, communicate with borrowers, and ensure data accuracy in Encompass while coordinating with underwriters and closers.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in mortgage processing, knowledge of conventional and government loan programs, and familiarity with RESPA, TILA, TRID, HMDA, ECOA.

Qualifications

• 4+ years mortgage experience in a mortgage processing position.
• Proficiency in Encompass LOS and ability to learn other tools.
• Strong knowledge of conventional and government loan programs.
• Knowledge of RESPA, TILA, TRID, HMDA, ECOA and Fair Lending laws.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Strong pipeline management and closing coordination.

Responsibilities

• Reviews all documents submitted by borrower within 48 hours of receipt.
• Direct communication with borrowers via email and/or phone, returning all calls within 24 hours.
• Reviews accuracy and completeness of Loan Application, AUS, and Credit Report.
• Review entire credit report for accuracy including name, property addresses, recent inquiries, liabilities, and alerts.
• Orders and retrieves third-party services (credit reports, tax transcripts, appraisals, etc.).
• Submits complete file to Underwriter for initial underwrite and final review.
• Clear all prior-to-doc conditions.
• Maintain accurate data in Encompass and communicate across departments.
• Participates in weekly pipeline reviews with Loan Officer and Processing Manager.
• Assist closing and post-closing with required documents.
• Stay informed on mortgage industry trends and regulatory changes.
