Job summary

Washington County Bank is seeking a Loan Processor to handle daily loan file scanning, escrow management, and disclosures. The role includes backing up inputting new loans, processing commercial and ag loans, and supporting DFS participation with timely, accurate data entry.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of banking experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a busy loan operations environment. High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Scan/enter loan file documents into the bank system on a daily basis.
• Manage escrow files and disclosures; monitor and disburse escrowed tax and insurance transactions as scheduled.
• Be a team player to ensure the loan processing area runs smoothly.
• Backup input of loan data into the bank system as needed.
• Prepare loan documents for commercial and agricultural loan requests.
• Assist with the DFS participation process from start to finish.
• Verify accuracy of new loans, maintenance, payments, and advances.
• Maintain compliance training and adhere to regulations.
• Promote professional behavior and positive working relationships.
