Job summary

The Maries County Bank in Jefferson City, MO is seeking an Entry level Loan Processor to provide specialized administrative support for loan officers. You will assemble loan documentation, review loans for credit standards, and interact with customers while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities include organizing files, preparing real estate documents, performing CIP/OFAC verifications, and assisting with loan analyses and reports. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year prior experience in a financial environment preferred.
• Experience with loan application software, policies, and documentation preferred.
• Ability to perform loan analysis and cash flows as directed by Loan Officers.
• Basic knowledge of banking products and services preferred.
• Prior experience in a customer service environment preferred.
• Proficient with standard office equipment and PC software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Organizes pending loan files and maintains a list of items needed for in-progress loans.
• Sets up and maintains files for current and paid-off loans.
• Ensures loan information is complete and accurate before processing.
• Prepares commercial and residential real estate documentation for loan processors to type.
• Verifies CIP and OFAC checks have been completed correctly.
• Pulls credit reports and helps prepare loan requests for committees and directors.
• Types loan documents as requested by Loan Officer.
• Obtains current collateral insurance as needed.
• Provides loan status reports to management and attends loan meetings as needed.
• Transcribes and types various correspondence and documents related to loans.
