Job summary

1st Security Bank of Washington is seeking a Loan Documentation Specialist to support commercial loan renewals and extensions. You will coordinate with loan coordinators and officers and deliver high-quality WOW service to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities include preparing and processing loan documents, imaging funded files, ordering title and appraisals, and ensuring post-closing accuracy. Strong knowledge of banking regulations and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial or construction lending (origination, processing, closing, and/or servicing).
• Basic knowledge of relevant regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering policies.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and processes loan documentation in accordance with credit approval.
• Oversee the imaging of funded loan files, ensuring quality control.
• Assist in gathering and verifying supporting documentation (e.g., title policies, permits, insurance).
• Loan closing tasks may include title reviews, flood determination, appraisal orders, escrow setups, and UCC searches.
• Update system records and perform post-funding reviews to ensure file accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with loan coordinators and loan officers to resolve issues.
