Job summary

West Capital Lending, Inc. is seeking a proactive Loan Officer Assistant to support a high-volume loan officer team from application through closing. You will handle applications, collect documents, and keep transactions moving with accuracy and professionalism.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, comfort making calls, and experience with spreadsheets; loan origination software is a plus. Tempe, AZ offers modern systems and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous mortgage or financial services experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple files and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable making phone calls, following up with clients, and coordinating documents and tasks.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and data entry; loan origination software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist loan officers with applications, documentation, and administrative tasks throughout the loan origination process.
• Collect, review, organize, and track borrower documents to ensure files are complete.
• Follow up with borrowers and others to obtain outstanding documents and keep transactions moving.
• Track active deals and maintain pipelines, spreadsheets, and transaction updates.
• Support new leads and existing clients through calls and follow-up communications.
• Coordinate with borrowers, lenders, real estate agents, and internal teams.
• Assist with disclosures, document processing, and follow-up on loan conditions.
• Manage multiple transactions and priorities with accuracy and professionalism.
