Qualifications

• Previous mortgage or financial services experience preferred.

• Proficiency with spreadsheets and data entry; loan origination software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist loan officers with applications, documentation, and administrative tasks throughout the loan origination process.
• Collect, review, organize, and track borrower documents to ensure files are complete.
• Follow up with borrowers and others to obtain outstanding documents and keep transactions moving.
• Track active deals and maintain pipelines, spreadsheets, and transaction updates.
• Support new leads and existing clients through calls and follow-up communications.
• Coordinate with borrowers, lenders, real estate agents, and internal teams.
• Assist with disclosures, document processing, and follow-up on loan conditions.
• Manage multiple transactions and priorities with accuracy and professionalism.

We are seeking a Loan Officer Assistant who is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting a high-volume loan officer team. This role is essential to ensuring a smooth client experience from application through closing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist loan officers with applications, documentation, and administrative tasks throughout the loan origination process.
• Collect, review, organize, and track borrower documents to help ensure files are complete and ready for the next steps.
• Follow up with borrowers and other parties to obtain outstanding documents, provide updates, and keep transactions moving forward.
• Track active deals and maintain accurate spreadsheets, pipeline records, and transaction updates.
• Support both new leads and existing clients through phone calls, follow-up communication, and general assistance as needed.
• Communicate with borrowers, lenders, real estate agents, and internal team members to help coordinate the lending process.
• Assist with disclosures, document processing, and follow-up on outstanding items and loan conditions.
• Manage multiple transactions and competing priorities while maintaining accuracy, organization, and professionalism.
