West Capital Lending is seeking a results-driven Loan Officer to help clients secure financing that fits their needs in Seattle. You will guide borrowers through the entire loan process, assess financial data, and tailor loan solutions while ensuring compliance with regulations.

This role blends sales, service, and strategy, backed by leads and a supportive in-house team to drive timely approvals and a positive client experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar role.
• Current Loan Officer license (NMLS).
• Strong knowledge of loan products, underwriting, and compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data and assess creditworthiness.
• Proficiency with MS Office and loan processing software.
• Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess loan applications by reviewing credit reports and financial documents.
• Recommend appropriate loan products based on eligibility and finances.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess loan applications by reviewing credit reports, financial documents, and client goals
• Recommend appropriate loan products based on client eligibility and financial situation
• Guide clients through the entire loan process, ensuring a smooth and informed experience
• Verify documentation and ensure compliance with all regulations
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and support teams to drive timely approvals
• Maintain detailed knowledge of lending guidelines, market conditions, and regulations
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and referral business
• Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Loan Officer or similar role in financial services
• Current Loan Officer license (NMLS)
• Strong understanding of loan products, underwriting, and industry compliance
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to assess financial data and determine creditworthiness
