Job summary

West Capital Lending is seeking a proactive Loan Officer to assist clients in securing financing tailored to their needs. You will navigate the loan process, evaluate finances, and present suitable options with regulatory compliance. Expect collaboration with an in-house manager and processing team.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in lending, hold an NMLS license, and excel in client communication and data analysis to close loans efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Loan Officer or similar role in financial services.
• Current Loan Officer license (NMLS).
• Strong understanding of loan products, underwriting, and industry compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to assess financial data and determine creditworthiness.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and loan processing software.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assess loan applications by reviewing credit reports, financial documents, and client goals.
• Recommend appropriate loan products based on client eligibility and financial situation.
• Guide clients through the entire loan process, ensuring a smooth and informed experience.
