Job summary

LoanPeople in Austin, TX, is seeking a results-oriented Loan Officer to sell residential mortgage products to clients in licensed states. Full-time position reporting to Branch Manager, with a focus on building rapport and guiding borrowers through the loan process.

Responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, soliciting documents, communicating clearly with clients and partners, and meeting sales goals.

• Advise and recommend mortgage loan products based on individual circumstances.
• Review interest rates and lock loans per pricing policies.
• Build rapport with clients, builders, realtors and title agents; provide strong customer service.
• Provide prequalification letters per regulatory requirements.
• Meet or exceed sales goals as directed by Branch Manager.
• Participate in weekly pipeline meetings with processors.
• Assist loan processing and closing to expedite loan closings.

Job Summary: This position is responsible for selling mortgage loan products and services to residential mortgage clients. Full-time, reports to Branch Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Be organized and manage own schedule

• Advise and recommend to clients regarding various mortgage loan products based on their individual circumstances
• Review interest rates as needed and lock all loans with borrowers in accordance with secondary marketing pricing and rate lock policies and procedures
• Build rapport and maintain open lines of communication with prospective/current clients, builders, realtors, and title agents and provide outstanding customer service
• Provide prequalification letters in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Meet or exceed established sales goals as determined by branch manager
• Participate in weekly pipeline meetings with processors
• Assist loan processing and closing departments to facilitate accurate and expeditious processing and closing of loans

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat, navigating the internet, and generally tech savvy
• Demonstrated track record of effective, proactive, and precise verbal and written communication
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to prioritize, multi-task, manage time, problem solve, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Self starter willing to take initiative and be resourceful in identifying and owning issues and producing effective results
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities
• Good judgment and the ability to handle confidential information
