Job summary

Cornerstone Capital is seeking an experienced Licensed Loan Officer to join a tight-knit team of mortgage professionals in New Mexico. You will promote and sell loan products, manage client relationships, and ensure accurate, timely closings.

The role emphasizes high service standards, compliance with regulations, and collaboration with referral partners to grow business. A license or ability to obtain one within 60 days is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the mortgage industry with a clear understanding of residential mortgage loan process from application through fulfillment.
• Must be licensed (or able to gain license within 60 days) by the regulator in each state of activity.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills required.

This professional will work in a tight-knit, goal-oriented team where our Customers and Referral Partners can rely on them to ensure an accurate and timely closing process. The Licensed Loan Officer’s primary function is the promotion and sale of Company loan products and services to potential customers.
